The New Cultural Center

The ODC Team is working on an exciting project in downtown Columbia. The New Cultural Center will be built on the current site of the award winning and iconic Toby's Dinner Theater. It will feature 192 apartments with a mix of market-rate and afordable, a new state-of-the-art theatre, (2) black box theaters, artists' studios, classrooms, (2) art galleries, a cafe and bar, gift shop, fitness club, lounges, (2) roof top terrace's and a residential courtyard. The facility will also have a 7 story parking structure for over 700 vehicles.

Groundbreaking for this landmark mixed use facility is expectd by late 2021. The first phase will be the new dinner theater. Phase two will consist of the parking garage, residential apartments and visual arts spaces. Howard County Housing Commission will own the facility and the Howard County Arts Council and Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts will be anchor tenants. Armiger Management will manage the residential apartments.
